I am the Principal Geophysicist at Olson Engineering as well as the Principal Geophysicist with ISC Geoscience. I have a BS in Engineering Physics, an MS in Geophysical Engineering, and a PhD in Geophysics. I have been doing field geophysics all over the world for 20+ years. I have used almost every brand and unit of field geophysical instrumentation and disassembled them all to see how they work. I spend a lot of time on positioning and integrating various positioning systems with my geophysical sensors. I spend my remaining time designing lab fixtures to measure the complex electromagnetic properties of materials, primarily rocks and soils but occasionally other materials like beer, wine, whiskey, and carbon nanotube doped thin films.
