Hi all!
I’m looking to compile an out-of-tree kernel module (a driver) to run on the Edison. Unforunately, the docs for this are murky at best - even the intel docs have broken links in several places.
So I have some questions:
- Having never used Yocto before, what do I need in order to compile a driver for the current image (Reach doesn’t come with a native edison image)
- I have another edison (non-reach). If I prepare with that, it might be easier to simply flash the same image to the reach. What does the reach provide besides the convenience of pre-installed reachview, rtklib etc? I don’t plan on using reachview anyway.
