No. Unless you are not wanting to setup your own base. VRS can be free or pay for depending on your area and you’ll need cellular. You’ll have to do some research in your area. VRS is very convenient.

Reach RS2 requires real-time base corrections to calculate a centimeter-accurate solution. Any VRS that provides corrections in the RTCM3 format should work well. You can follow our Working with NTRIP service guide to set up everything.
But as Zach has mentioned, you can also go for a second Reach RS2 as a base station. It allows you to work without subscription and cellular coverage on your site.
