IF you scroll down, under “Services Web” you can download a PDF file called “Stations de captage GNSS” that give you access to the address, the port and the coordinates in DMS format. I’m trying to use my EMLID RS3 unit as a rover and connect to this base for what I think would be RTK precision and accuracy… well that’s at least what I understand.
Thing is, it’s not working. I think I entered the coordinates correctly, I THINK I’m connecting to the point (M23K2000) and I’m apparently receiving corrections, but I can’t get a fix. I’m 10km away from the station or so.
The source(s) of the problem can be so, SO many things because I still don’t really know what I’m doing. I’d like to know if I’m supposed to be able to form a RTK connection using my RS3 rover and the M23K2000 base located in Québec City, less than 10km away from me and actually FIX to said base. If it’s supposed to be possible, then I’ll know that the problem is my setup!
There’s no need to worry about the question. This forum is here for exactly that—helping each other out if there’s any confusion or questions.
As you mentioned earlier in the email about this website:
I’ve read that it works as a RTK base but you can’t receive NTRIP
This might be because this website works as a CORS station, where you can download the data but can’t stream corrections in real-time. I checked the website and can download RINEX data from this link.
Could you share more about your goals? Do you want to collect points using the FIX solution? You can still use this web service to download the data and do Post-Process Kinematic afterward. Let me know!
I use those MERN stations all the time and they work fine.
The only thing that you need to bear in mind is that it’s a TCP server so you need to use the TCP client option for correction input. The only info you need are the base’s IP address (it’s the same for every station of that network) and the port, which is the unique value for each station.
