Topcon AGI4 problems

Hi all, this might seem off topic but i’ve got a problem i can’t get my head around :

Point is: i’ve build my own RTK modem for my topcon AGI4 receiver, it connects to my phones hotspot and that works very good.
But i have 2 users with issues on their TopconAGI4 recievers.

They have the same software versions as mine, use the same NTRIP network, all have 0-1s signal delay, same tractors (Fendt700SCR). On my system it works
very well, on theirs it takes minutes to get a fix, and then it works ok . but when the signal drops because of a tree or something else, it takes again minutes
to get a fix back. Switching for a few seconds to Egnos and then back to RTK network, gives an almost instant fix.

The data stream contains these types :
1004,1005,1007,1012,1030,1031,1032,1033,4094

According to what i know, these arent correct , or better ,complete . (i got them from a test setup with an ESP32 and connected to Snip on my computer) Should i not need 1008 too ?

As far as i know i also need 1077/1087/1230 for RCTM 3.2 , but that includes the Beidou and Galileo data, which a AGI4 can’t handle it should only get RTCM 3.1 streams (which we all use here)

In my reciever status (when connected to a laptop) , i see that it’s using ref station 1082 … weird.

I’m pretty sure that the problem needs to found in the RTCM stream , or the settings of AGI4 itself. I have got my hands on one of the receivers that have
this issue and i’ll compare all the settings of both to see if i can find any changes. Still something to do .

I was hoping to know if any of you have any clue?

thanks in advance!

Hi @Bartdereu,

Welcome to the forum!

We haven’t tested the Topcon AGI-4 receivers ourselves, so I can’t provide detailed guidance. However, I came across a thread where this receiver was mentioned. Hopefully, the insights shared by other users there will be helpful to you.
