Stakeout nearest point

Hi folks. Is there a way in Flow that I can load a project and stakeout ‘nearest’ as I move towards that point in a situation where the point numbers are not sequential and selecting the ‘next’ point is not an option and scrolling to locate the point is not efficient. I have explored trying to reorder the point numbers (3000+) but am having difficulty with that. Bringing them into flow correctly numbered would obviously help, but a stakeout ‘nearest’ is a common feature in other solutions.

Hi @paul3,

Currently, Emlid Flow doesn’t have this feature, but I understand how useful it would be. I’ll add this request as a +1 to our feature request list for the development team to consider for future updates.

Not exactly what you are looking for, but are you aware you can pick stakeout points directly from the map screen?

I use this all the time to take check shots on nearby existing points.

Thank you yes. Just don’t want to be doing that for several thousand points. I think the best option will be to ensure that sequencing numbers are amended / applied in cad before the import into flow ensuring that the point numbers are in sequence along the desired routes (using the arrow to more up and back in sequence to the next point)

I suggested nearest point option in the past. It’s a time saving feature very useful.
