Currently, Reach can track SBAS but does not utilize it to enhance calculations. Our internal tests have shown that SBAS does not significantly improve accuracy, as it typically provides about 1-meter CEP, which can vary depending on location.
Still, I’ve noted your request. If there are any developments regarding this feature, I will keep you updated!
Thanks @merryna.anggriani. This is interesting to hear as I’ve had discussions with people utilizing SouthPAN SBAS on receivers from EoS Positioning, Juniper Systems and U-Blox who have been achieving 0.3-0.5m accuracy.
This was also supported by a test project conducted by final year students at the University of New South Wales in Australia.
I look forward to hearing any development updates, hopefully in the not too distant future.
Without detailed data that could still be indicative of something close to 1m CEP. That means 50% of positions falling within a 1m radius and a number of those are going to fall within 0.3 to 0.5m.
And the link you posted mostly refers to 30min static observations and PPP.
Bear in mind the product set here has a key focus on RTK, e.g. real time 0.01m.
The results may vary depending on the location, and we’re currently exploring the possibilities. For now, I can’t provide an ETA since it’s not on our roadmap, but I’ll be sure to update you if there are any developments.
