Looking to flash an RS3 that seams to have a dead battery. I cannot flash it because it will not connect to my computer. Everytime I disconnect the USB C Cable it shuts of and when I plug it in it start the power cycle.

How can I flash it with a dead battery?

We usually recommend reflashing as a last resort since it will erase all the data from the unit. Do I understand correctly that your RS3 won’t power on, and the LEDs keep blinking? Let’s try a few steps to troubleshoot first:

  • Have you tried rebooting the RS3 by holding the power button for 15+ seconds?
  • Please leave it on charge overnight for at least 9 hours. Does the unit show any charging indication when plugged in?
  • Have you tested with another USB cable or power source?
