RS+ Rover Battery Charging Issue

Our lab’s Reach RS+ rover unit no longer seems to charge properly and currently is not turning on at all. Initially, the unit would display a solid orange LED when plugged in, but would not start up when the on button was pressed. It now does not display any LEDs and will not turn on. I have tried using various charging methods including the CBL101 unit spliced to a usb. All of these charging methods work on the base unit, which has no issues, but do not work on the Rover unit. I presume this might be a battery issue? Anyone else experience similar issues?
