This spring we participated in several industry-leading events to show Reach RS2 to the world! We attended expos in the Netherlands, Germany, Australia, Russia, Turkey, and the USA. The events brought together drone pilots, surveyors, archeologists, GIS engineers and other specialists from all walks of life.
Locate Conference in Melbourne, Australia
On the first day of Locate19, Igor Vereninov, CEO of Emlid, took part in a panel discussion about startups in GIS and shared the Emlid story and vision. After the panel discussion, Igor joined the exhibition where Emlid had a booth jointly with our Australian dealer Mangoesmapping.
BAUMA, Munich, Germany
In April, Emlid team, together with our European dealer General Laser, participated in BAUMA. It was a pleasure to see great interest from people from the construction industry!
Annual Meeting of the Society for American Archaeology in Albuquerque, USA
This year the SAA Annual Meeting was held in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Among 5,000 people who visited the meeting there were a lot of happy customers using Reach M+ and Reach RS+ for mapping archaeological sites. Thanks to the archaeological community for the warm reception and positive feedback about Reach RS2. See you next year in Austin, TX!
AUVSI XPONENTIAL, Chicago, USA
At the end of April, we debuted at AUVSI XPONENTIAL to meet drone professionals and introduce Reach RS2. When used for drone mapping, Reach RS2 can be used both as a base station for RTK/PPK drones and as a rover for placing ground control points.
GEO-Siberia 2019 in Novosibirsk, Russia
The geodetic expo in Russia attracted 3,800 visitors this year. Some of our active Reach users flew to Novosibirsk from other cities and countries just to be among the first to see and try Reach RS2. We were glad to run some field tests and even managed to get feedback from professional surveyors.
Meeting of Turkish Surveying Association in Ankara, Turkey
We also participated in the Geospatial event in Turkey, along with our dealer Dronmarket. The exhibition brought together hundreds of surveying and cadastre engineers. It was great to see the interest in Reach RS2 and to have many inspiring conversations.
