Reach Firmware 33 Beta 2 is out

Hi everyone!

The new Beta version of the Reach Firmware is here—meet 33 Beta 2.

This release is available for all devices. Check out what’s inside.

Changed

  • Returned 10 Hz RTK update rate for multi-band devices when BeiDou GNSS system is disabled

  • Implemented Bluetooth connection management. The Reach receivers now support only one active Bluetooth connection at a time, either Bluetooth Classic or BLE.

    – If you are connected to third-party software via Bluetooth Classic and want to connect to Emlid Flow via BLE, you must first disconnect the existing connection.

    – Similarly, to connect Reach to another mobile device, you need to disconnect it from the previously connected device before establishing a new connection.

This update enhances receiver stability and minimizes connectivity issues.

Fixed

  • Rollback from beta to stable version
  • Display device type in the RINEX log header
  • Tilt compensation stability for Reach RS3 devices
  • Cases where only position (LLH) log is recorded
  • Cases where Reach is not visible in the Emlid Flow scanner

Try the new beta release and let us know what you think. Share your feedback in the comments—we’d love to hear your thoughts!
