So I’m finally delving into precision goe tagging with the reach module on my Pixhawk and Navio units. So is it unnecessary to use the Reach for navigation and geotagging at the same time? Because of the moving nature of the drone, I presume post processing is the way to goe tagg. And being precise navigation isn’t really that important, should I just run the base and drone Reach as rovers and post process the files and let the PX4’s use their own GPS units? Just wanted to clear this up before I got too deep into RTK as I’m needing accurate goetagging asap.
You are correct, there is no need to use Reach for navigation, you can use an original GPS unit for this purpose.
