Navio2 PWM is made to control the servo motors. In the meantime, we do not consider increasing the frequencies higher than 400 Hz on PWM outputs to support the Brushed Relay motors.
For such motors, I’d suggest using a specialized DC motor driver.
Yes, that does work. Only minor issue is that standard dual 30A H Bridge driver costs about 15$ while the price of the special DC motor drivers which are listed on the ArduRover manual page cost from 40 $ (single motor) to 120$ (dual). Using Arduino between Navio2 and H Bridge to convert RC PWM into duty cycle PWM that drives the H Bridge works also but makes the setup rather complicated.
