Missing Event Data in _events.pos File – Reach RTK, RedEdge-M, M600 Pro Setup

Hi everyone,

I’m working with an older setup that includes:

Emlid Reach RTK (Intel edition) configured with Top of Frame (ToF) output

MicaSense RedEdge-M camera capturing images every 30 seconds

DJI Matrice 600 Pro UAV

A separate Reach module as the base station

During the mission, I saw the message “Camera triggered date and time using GNSS” on the Camera Control page, which suggests that the trigger integration was working correctly. I also confirmed that the wiring and voltage were correct.

After the flight, I post-processed the data using Emlid Studio and RTKLIB. I received both the .pos and *_events.pos files, but both files only contain the header—no timestamp, latitude, longitude, or height data.

Has anyone run into this issue before? Could it be something I missed in the configuration or processing workflow? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Hi @GauPra ,

I will need a closer look at this for you. Can you email me the following files at support@emlid.com:

  1. The observation file from both the base and the rover.
  2. The navigation file from the base.
  3. A folder containing the photos.
  4. The MRK file from the drone

I can recreate the issue as I go through the files.
