Not really. If Reach calculates Fix, the estimated accuracy will be pretty high even without averaging. But the pole can slightly tilt, and we can’t be sure it is perfectly aligned just at the moment of point collection. Averaging helps minimize the distortion. That’s why it’s better to keep it at 5-10 seconds.
