LoRa Radio Datasheet

Hi everyone,

I’ve been looking for the LoRa Radio datasheet, but I haven’t been able to find it anywhere.

If anyone knows where I can find it or has any information about it, I’d really appreciate your help.

Thanks!

Not sure exactly what you are looking for - something like this?

RN2903 LoRa Technology Transceiver Module Data Sheet

Emlid uses their own proprietary LoRa. (Would have to open one up to see what guts it uses).

Emlid will need to provide more.

Model only:

Gotcha, I will search for it

As the other user said, that’s not exactly the Lora module emlid provides. I don’t know if there is a public datasheet avaible

Thank you, I already looked at it but I was searching for the specific LoRa Radio datasheet

Hi @enricocovili,

Thank you all for chiming in!

Are you looking for anything specific? You can check this guide how to connect to the RTK module.

Hi! I already looked at it, but thank you. I was specifically searching for the formal datasheet of the module.

Hi @enricocovili

Sorry for the radio silence here.

As Tim mentioned, if your question is about passing corrections to other devices through LoRa, Emlid LoRa has a custom protocol and can work only with other Emlid LoRas.

We don’t have any more documentation, but if you let me know what exactly are you looking for, I can check what we can do.

I was just looking for a normal datasheet… what is the output/input of every pin and all electrical specifications.

We have information on all the connections pinout for M2 here. For connecting LoRa to M2, you would need to use an S2 output and a cable that comes with the LoRa module. We use a 1.25 mm pitch JST-GH 7-pin connector. Connector: SM07B-GHS-TB, and its corresponding connector is GHR-07V-S.

Yeah, i founded it while working with the S2 and i just “assumed” the pin were the same on the LoRa Radio. But i was searching for a specific documentation regarding JUST the LoRa Radio. Is it existent or the Radio is a completely undocumented piece of hardware?

You’re correct, all the pins are the same and used for the Emlid LoRa radio.

From our experience, information about the pinout and cables is enough to connect and work with LoRa. But if you have questions about anything specific, I can check.
