Intel Edison etc/network/interfaces can not write

Hello,

I need to setup a static ip through usb-ethernet.

I can connect ssh to reach. But, i can not edit interfaces. i tries chmod 777 not worked.

what is wrong?

It already provides a static IP at 192.168.2.15. Do you want to change it ?

No, i need eth0’s ip static. i plugged reach to a switch (through usb->ethernet adapter) so i want eth0 static ip.

I can not save my lines in /etc/network/interfaces in Intel Edison.
