The latest Emlid Flow app update (version 11.7) also introduces the ability to duplicate points and edit their coordinates. This feature usually comes handy when you need to correct the coordinates of a control point that was manually added or imported.
Follow the steps below:
Select a point from the map or list of objects in Emlid Flow, and tap Duplicate and edit.
On the opened screen, edit the coordinates and save the new point.
Very nice tool but there is a bug when duplicating a point. Lets say that I work in local coordinates, the emlid flow doesn’t keep these coordinates but only the global.
The Duplicate & Edit feature is designed to pre-fill coordinates based on the point’s origin.
In your case, the point was collected using Emlid Flow. Points are usually collected using the global coordinate system and then converted to local coordinates. That’s why the tab has its global coordinates pre-filled. When you save the point, we’ll calculate and update the local coordinates for you.
On the other hand, if the point was manually created or imported with local coordinates already assigned, the local coordinates will be pre-filled.
UPD: Reworded the explanation to make it clearer. Hope this helps clarify things!
