Different information in GPSD and web in REACH

Hello all.

I’m using reach as GPS device for GPSD in linux. The GST data has different information than the provided in the reach’s web interface.

The information of error in lat in web is showed as alt error in GPSD.
The information of error in lon in web is showed as lat error in GPSD.
The information of error in alt in web is showed as lon error in GPSD.

What information is correct?

Thanks.

Hi,

Both sources seem correct to me. They just have different timing, NMEA output updates every epoch, but the interface is not synced with position output data. It updates separately, with its own timings.

It is not a timming problem. The values, normaly are the same in web interface and in gpsd, but the meaning is not the same.

If in gpsd you get

Lon=1
Lat=2
Alt=3

in web interface you get

Lon=3
Lat=1
Alt=2

Question
What resolution does GPSD work with nmea data?
Some programs truncate the nmea data.
