The new APM version is out!
There’s a couple of thing to bear in mind:
- The new version is an unstable one, so be careful!
- You can use up to three compasses now
- LSM9DS1 has lower offsets. In order to use it, you need to enable it as an external compass in Mission Planner and set rotation to
ROLL_180.
Some of you have wondered if high offsets are an issue.
It turns out it’s not. Mostly, because AK8963 has a way wider scale than HMC5883L’s one which the PreArm checks have been adjusted to.
